The present invention provides a process and apparatus for cleaning and reclamation of industrial waste containing oily metallic solids (22) by magnetically concentrating the oily magnetic solids with a magnetic concentrator (76), mixing the concentrated solids with a chemical release agent in a clarifier (70), applying microwave radiation to the mixture in a microwave process chamber (72), and separately collecting the clean metallic solids (91) with a drum filter (92) and skimming recovered oil (85) from the clarifier with a skimmer (84).
