The silo has a central column (2) and numerous large feed apertures in the outer wall of the annular chamber (7). There are ventilating elements on the silo floor and the ceiling of the annular chamber. One or more apertures (9) are formed in the ceiling of the annular chamber. They are coupled to the annular mixing chamber via controllable dispensing fixtures, pref. dispensing rotary sliders (10). One or more annular chamber outlets (12) are fitted above the floor of the annular chamber. Pref. an intermediate partition (19) with side walls, acting as a space for the rotary sliders, is located under the ceiling of the chamber and above the floor of the annular chamber.
