The invention concerns a method and device for transporting flexible bags (1) combined in bundles (B) and for delivering the bundles (B) to a filling machine. The bags (1) are held together to form a bundle (B) by means of coiled, separable connectors (3) (wickets) passing through holes in the bags. The bundles (B) are conveyed with their connectors (3) suspended on bag carriers (8) to the filling stage where, in the suspended state, the connectors (3) of each bundle (B) are separated. The bundle (B) is then deposited without its connector on a feed device (30) arranged in front of the filler machine, the holes (2) in the bags being centred.
