The engine has several injection nozzles per cylinder, which is in three parts. The outlet piston runs 15 deg. of the crank angle isochoric before the inlet the inlet piston for the mixture-forming time period. The piston motion is coupled to a strap-free outlet and inlet part and actuates the cylinder scavenging matched to the ignition frequency. Pref. the sealing, required by the three parts, of the tip piston skirt is attained without piston rings by a duo-thermal combustion, disposing with external cooling, with identical heat expansion of the piston and cylinder.
