Affinity chromatographic purificn. of Factor VIII (F8) involves: (a) contacting a biological fluid (BF) contg. F8 with immobilised cellular von Willebrand factor (vWF) (or its deriv.) to absorb the F8, (b) sepg. impurities and (c) eluting the absorbed F8.
