Bidirectional communication line for high frequency signals

The system for the bidirectional transmission of high frequency signals uses two cable systems. Each system has a high frequency electrical cable 5 and an optical fibre cable 6. The high frequency cable is in sections of approximately 850 metres, with coupling modules 8 that allow bidirectional transmission. These alternate with safety modules 9. The coupling modules cross couple with the signal cable. The cables connect at each end with the transmitter and the receiver modules.
