The storage and redial method involves using a telephone with redial buffers and a non-volatile storage. The method includes the steps of checking if an original conversation status exists or not, and storing the dialling information of a currently telephoned party in the redial buffer. The contents of the redial buffer are also stored in the non-volatile memory, whereby a stable redial function can be executed, e.g., by the pressing of a redial button, even if the power supply is interrupted.
