The elastic mounting is for the impact bar of a hammermill or crusher in the rotor. The body of the bar has at its mounting point a dovetail-section protrusion (2), giving a large amount of free pendulum movement (9) in the recess (3) in the rotor disc (4). Elastic inserts formnig clamping members are fitted between the recess and the bottom of the bar. USE/ADVANTAGE - Simplicity, and damps out shock-loads on rotor of hammer mill.
