<p>Decomposition products of DELTA4,20,22- bufatrienolides and process for their separation. Acid hydrolysis of proscillaridine (I) results in mixtures which may contain unreacted (I), scillaridine (II) and the following bufatrienolides not hitherto described in literature and forming the subject of this invention. 3alpha, 14beta-di-OH-DELTA4,20,22-bufatrienolide 3alpha, 14beta-diOH-19-oxo-DELTA4,20,22-bufatrienolide 3alpha, 14beta, 19-tri-OH-DELTA4,20,22-bufatrienolide 5beta, 14beta-diOH-DELTA3,20,22-bufatrienolide 5beta, 14beta-di-OH-19-oxo-DELTA3,20,22-bufatrienolide 5beta, 14beta, 19-tri-OH-DELTA3,20,22-bufatrienolide 19 hydroxyscillaridine.
