Colour video device with on-screen indication of colour tone control state

The device comprises a data input (10) for a colour tone control instruction for the colour video signal indicated on the screen. There is a screen indication signal generator (30) for creating a visual presentation of a reference colour together with a display indicating the contribution degree of the reference colour. Several reference colours are used to indicate the colour tone control state, in response to the colour tone instruction from the data input for showing the control state.
