Synthetic crystalline aluminosilicate, useful as catalyst

Synthetic crystalline aluminosilicate (I) of compsn. (I) is claimed: 0-3M2O:Al2O3:15-40SiO2:0-40H2O (I) where M = metal cation with the x-ray diffraction d-values as shown in table 1 and whose SiO2/Al2O3-molar ratio on the crystalline surface is greater or identical to the SiO2/Al2O3-molar ratio inside the crystal. The novelty is that the aluminosilicate, whose 29Si solid MAS-NMR spectrum has absorption bands at approx. -100, -106, -112 and -116 ppm based on TMS, is used in catalytic conversions in the petrochemical processes.
