Colour photocopying system

The digital colour photocopying system has a CCD camera based scanner 102 that provides RGB signals that are sampled 102 and processed 103. Generated signals are received by a copying head 104 that has a number of lasers 116 for the colour component signals for reproduction. These are typically directed by a rotating polygon mirror onto a photosensitive drum. The processing unit has image correction stages 111,112 that allow corrections for reflected signals from the surface of different types of original document materials e.g. paper, film etc.
