A page printer comprises: a housing (1) having a side plate (5); a gate roller (17), a developing unit (30), a photosensitive drum unit 18), a fixing unit, and a paper discharging roller (2) mounted in the order stated from above on a front side of the housing (1); and controlling electronic circuit means (13) housed in the housing (1) at a side portion (9) thereof.
