BIASSING MECHANISM IN PAPER CARRYING APPARATUS

There is constructed a biassing mechanism in a paper carrying apparatus such that said paper carrying apparatus comprises a carrying passage composed of upper and lower guide plates that form a carrying path for carrying papers in a predetermined direction and a biassing mechanism for biassing papers on the carrying passage in a direction perpendicular to the carrying direction, the improvement being such that said carrying apparatus further comprises: a feeding mechanism provided substantially at the center of the carrying passage in the width direction thereof for feeding papers in the carrying direction and a biassing mechanism disposed at a location displaced in the width direction of the feeding mechanism for biassing papers to one side of the feeding mechanism extending in the width direction of the same, said feeding mechanism is withdrawn from the carrying passage when said biassing mechanism is protruded onto the carrying passage in order to bias the papers in the width direction of the carrying passage.
