PURPOSE: To obtain a rubber compsn. which is useful as an additive for a tire rubber compound to reduce its Mooney viscosity and shrinkage to thereby improve its processibility by using a blend comprising a specific diene rubber and a specific trans-1,4-polybutadiene in a specified wt. ratio. CONSTITUTION: This compsn. is a blend comprising 70-95wt.% at least one diene rubber selected from among a natural rubber, a cis-1,4-polyisoprene rubber, a styrene-butadiene copolymer rubber, and a styrene-isoprene-butadiene rubber and 5-30wt.% trans-1,4-polybutadiene having the first m.p. of 30-60 deg.C and the second m.p. of 70-130 deg.C and is used as a part of a rubber component for producing a tire. |
