PURPOSE: To simplify constitution and to reduce the cost by defining a voltage from the tertiary winding of a flyback transformer as a detection voltage for X-ray leakage. CONSTITUTION: The tertiary winding W3 of the flyback transformer FT2 is connected to an X-ray leakage protection circuit 6. To the tertiary winding W3, a low voltage proportional to a high voltage induced in a secondary winding W2 is outputted as the detection voltage for the X-ray leakage protection circuit 6. When the detection voltage exceeds a prescribed value, the X-ray leakage protection circuit 6 is operated so as to stop the high voltage output of the secondary winding W2 by stopping the operation of a circuit on the primary side of the flyback transformer FT2, for instance a horizontal oscillation circuit, or the like. Since the high voltage for operating the X-ray leakage protection 6 is taken out from the side of the tertiary winding W3, it is lowered when a beam current is increased. Thus, the X-ray leakage protection circuit 6 is operated by the detection voltage proportional to the high voltage. |
