<p>PURPOSE: To prevent a rear-end collision and to safely stop a moving vehicle at each planned stop position of a proximately arranged station or the like without using a light reflection type distance sensor, etc., requiring labor for control. CONSTITUTION: A moving vehicle A to be automatically traveled along a traveling course is provided with an obstacle detecting means 12 for detecting an obstacle on the front side of an advancing direction, arrival detecting means 14 for detecting arrival at the planned stop position, transmitting means 13a for transmitting stop information showing the state of stop at the planned stop position to the rear side of the advancing direction, and receiving means 13b for receiving the stop information from the front side of the advancing direction and when the receiving means 13b receives the stop information, a traveling control means for performing rear-end collision preventing control for stopping the moving vehicle when any obstacle exists in a set distance for stop but starting the moving vehicle A when the obstacle is removed and stop control for stopping the moving vehicle at the planned stop position stops the moving vehicle A at the planned stop position on the vehicle side rather than the planned stop position of the preceding moving vehicle A without performing the rear-end collision preventing control based on obstacle detection information.</p> |
