PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To effectively clean the outside surface of a bell member without spraying a rinsing solvent. SOLUTION: This rotary atomizer is constituted so that the rinsing solvent is uniformly flowed along a perimeter from interior to outside surface 5 by centrifugal force without spattering on other parts when the outside surface 5 at the outer perimeter of its bell member 1 is rinsed. The rinsing solvent is supplied from a rinsing valve to storage spaces 29, 15 positioned on the inside of the outside surface 5 side in the radial direction for a short time. The solvent is flowed along the upper surface of a bell plate rim 6 whose rear part is effectively curved from the storage space 15. Alternatively, the solvent can be supplied from an exclusive valve separately arranged. |
