PURPOSE: To provide a favourable accelerating and decelerating feeling by setting first target input revolution to a transmission from a throttle opening and a car speed detection value, setting current second target input revolution from past second target input revolution and setting third target input revolution from them. CONSTITUTION: First target input revolution is computed and set on the basis of a throttle opening TVO from a throttle opening sensor 51 and car speed VSF from a car speed sensor 52 in accordance with arithmetic processing for transmission gear ratio control by a microcomputer 60, and second target input revolution is computed and set by using it. Additionally, third target input revolution is computed and set by using the first and second target input revolution, a transmission gear ratio to be performed by a toroidal type stepless transmission 40 is computed and set in accordance with it, and a control signal required to perform it is output. Drive circuits 61L, 61R convert this upshift and downshift control signal to a drive signal to solenoids SL, SR of an electromagnetic directional changeover valve 47 and output it. Consequently, it is possible to perform favourable vehicle accelerating and decelerating speed. |
