PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide charging devices used for charging and transfer, and for charging and pre-transfer in a color electrophotographic printer. SOLUTION: A first charging device 10 is used to charge a photoreceptor 10 for exposure and pre-transfer and charge a composed color image, whereby by which all toner particles have a proper polarity. A second charging device 22 is used to charge the photoreceptor and transfer the composed color image to a sheet 38. |
