PURPOSE: To provide a selective display call receiver with display function which is capable of surely storing significant message information for a long time. CONSTITUTION: Identification information as to whether a message should be protected or not corresponding to each message information stored in the message memory 24b of a RAM 24 is added and the identification information is stored in a control data memory 24a. When the storage capacity of the message memory 24b becomes full, memory information except message information to be protected in accordance with the identification information of the control data memory 24a is made to be deleted from the message memory 24b in a prescribed order and the message information stored in the message memory 24b including message information to be protected is made to be displayed on a display part 29 in order of incoming calls.
