PURPOSE: To enhance production efficiency by eliminating cycle loss when a large number of composite containers are produced. CONSTITUTION: A preform 34 is vertically held and the bottom mold 2 holding the bottom part of an outside container 58 so as to turn the mouth part of the outside container 58 to the outside is revolved at least two or more times on the vertical plane above the preform 34 to be stopped at the position opposed to the preform 34 and the bottom mold 2 is allowed to fall to insert the preform 34 in the outside container 58 and a split mold 20 is unified with the bottom mold 2 and a stretching rod is inserted in the preform 34 to inject a fluid in the preform under pressure to perform stretch blow molding to obtain a composite container. During the stretch blow molding, the bottom part of the outside container 58 is held to the bottom mold 2 stopped at the revolving position separated from the preform 34.
