<p>PURPOSE: To simplify the structure of a paper feeding cassette and reduce costs. CONSTITUTION: A spring for pressing recording paper sheets 3 against a paper feeding roller 1 is not arranged in a paper feeding cassette 2, but a pressure applying means 5 provided with a push-up lever 7 for pushing-up the bottom plate 4 of the paper feeding cassette 2 on the device body side. This pressure applying means 5 is constituted in such a way that when a paper feeding cassette is not secured, the push-up lever 7 occupies a position with the push-up lever T evacuated downward, but when the paper feeding roller 1 is rotated after securing the paper feeding cassette, the push-up lever 7 pushes up the bottom plate 4 interlocking with the rotation of the paper feeding roller 1.</p> |
