WET CLASSIFIER AND WET CLASSIFYING METHOD

PURPOSE: To perform classification with extremely high precision although a classifier has such simple construction that special parts such as support members and a slit bowl are not required. CONSTITUTION: In a wet classifier utilizing sedimentation by gravity, a head part 2 in the shape of an inverted cone is formed continuously from an opening edge la of the lower end side of a cylindrical part 1 standing straight, and also an inclined angleθof the head part 2 is set at an angle a little larger than the angle of repose of a granular body in treating liquid. An inflow port 3 for the treating liquid is provided on the bottom part 2a of the head part 2, and an outflow port 4 is provided on the upper end 1b side of the cylindrical part 1.
