PURPOSE: To perform infrared ray communication in a rolling stock without increasing burden on the maintenance of the rolling stock, and save installation labor or space required for an infrared ray generator to the rolling stock. CONSTITUTION: A tail lamp 1 is provided with a base body 2 to be installed on a front part or back part of a main body of a rolling stock, a lens 3 provided on the base body 2 and exposed outside the vehicle, and a red color LED 4 provided on the base body 2 to be positioned on the inner side of the lens 3 to radiate visible light of red color through the lens 3. An infrared ray LED5 to radiate infrared ray through the lens 3 to the external, and an infrared ray photodiode 6 to receive the infrared ray radiated from the external through the lens 3 are provided on the base body 2 to be positioned on the inner side of the lens 3.
