<p>PURPOSE: To provide an image forming method capable of forming stable images free from the occurrence of image defects, such as fogging and black dots, over a long period of time. CONSTITUTION: This image forming method comprises developing the images by using toners prepd. by adding fine particles to colored particles consisting of at least a resin and coloring agents on an org. electrophotographic photoreceptor constituted by providing the surface of a conductive base l with a photosensitive layer. The extreme surface layer of the photoreceptor contains spheroidal inorg. particles having Mohs hardness of >=5. The film strength of the photosensitive layer is 0.1 to 1μm in the depth of flaws when a perpendicular load of 200g is applied on the photosensitive layer by using a diamond needle having a tip radius of 0.3mm. The toner particles to be added to the toners are at least inorg. fine particles having a BET surface area of 4 to 30m<2> /g or resin fine particles having a number average primary grain size of 0.1 to 2.0μm or composite fine particles fixedly attaching inorg. fine particles having a number average primary grain size of 5 to 100μm on their surfaces and inorg. fine particles having a BET surface area of 40 to 400m<2> /g.</p> |
