PURPOSE: To reduce the costs of taping work by guiding a cover tapeless carrier tape by the guide groove of a tape feeder and at the same time storing it into a feeding groove and opening a lid body for covering the feeding groove to load an electronic part into a tape storing pocket and then close the lid body. CONSTITUTION: The tip part of a cover tapeless carrier tape 41 is inserted on the inlet side of the feeding groove 2 of a tape feeder, and both ends of a tape 41 is guided by a guide groove 3 and at the same time it is stored into the feeding groove 2. After that, a lid body 4 is opened against the elastic force of a spring hinge 5 to load an electronic part E into a storing pocket 41b for the tape 41 and after that, to close the lid body 4. Next, the tape feeder 1 containing the carrier tape 41 after the electronic part E is loaded is mounted on the cassette main body 10 of the part supply. The lid body 15 of the cassette main body 10 is opened to send the tip part of the carrier tape 41 inside the tape feeder 1 into the feeding groove of the cassette main body 10 to close the lid body 15. |
