The present invention relates to a method and an arrangement for restricting the mobility of a subscriber in a cordless telecommunications system, which comprises fixed parts (FP1, FP2, FP3, FP4), each associated with access right identities (ARI), and at least one portable part (PP1) having a portable access right key (PARK1) and an international portable user identity (IPUI1), particularly in a DECT based CTM (<u>C</u>ordless <u>T</u>erminal <u>M</u>obility) network. The invention comprises defining at least a first access right domain (LA1, LA2, LA3) for the portable part (PP1), linking the international portable user identity (IPUI1) of the portable part (PP1) to the first access right domain (LA1, LA2, LA3), analyzing the international portable user identity (IPUI1) of the portable part (PP1) to determine whether the portable part (PP1) has access right to the domain where it is located (LA4), and rejecting a call or a call attempt in case of not having access right to the domain (LA4). |
