<p>PURPOSE: To prevent an insular arm from supporting a transmission line while being shifted in the line direction at the time of laying the transmission line. CONSTITUTION: A tension insulator and a compression insulator constituting an insulator arm are coupled each other at the forward end parts thereof and coupled, at the base end parts thereof, to a steel tower body rotatably in the direction of line about a coupling pin aligned therewith. For example, an insulator base end metal 34 at the base end part on the compression insulator side is coupled through a coupling pin 4 with an insulator supporting metal 35 secured to the steel tower body. A positioning pin 40 to be inserted removably into holes 35b, 34a made, respectively, through the insulator supporting metal 35 and the insulator base end metal 34 is provided in the vicinity of the coupling pin 4. At the time of laying a wire, the positioning pin 40 is inserted in order to stop turning of the insulator arm and to hold the insulator arm at a reference position. When the positioning pin 40 is removed after laying the wire, the insulator arm can turn freely back and forth in the direction of line and the moveability of insulator arm is not damaged at all at the time of operation.</p> |
