PURPOSE: To provide a paved surface with a light emitting device having a transparent colored luminescent layer capable of displaying pictures, characters and other information indicators on a promenade and general roads. CONSTITUTION: Asphalt and other lower paving layers 2 are installed on a subgrade 1, and a light modulating part 4 and an optical fiber pipe 3 precharged are installed in this lower paving layer 2. One end of this optical fiber pipe 3 is connected to a bottom part of the light modulating part 4 and the other end to an illuminant part 5, respectively. Light out of the light modulating part 4 is transmitted as being subject to irregular reflection by glass pearls or a transparent colored luminescent layer 7, and then it apears on a surface paved layer 8, making picture, figures, marks and characters cane into view in cooperation with a nonluminous layer 9. |
