PURPOSE: To obtain a health tea having SOD-like activity equivalent to that of Rooibos Tea within the range of use levels as a common tea, not only effective for allergic diseases, esp. atopic eczema and asthma but also enhancing immunocompetence by continual taking, easy to take with good flavor and color tone, well-balanced in terms of nutrient through formulation of carotenoid plant(s), and extremely high in fanciness. CONSTITUTION: This health tea is obtained by blending at least one kind of dry plant servable for drinking use as a common tea by decoction or teaching with at least one kind of the dry product or extract of carotenoid-contg. plant(s) commonly servable for drinking use by decoction or leaching, or at least one kind of substance selected from tannins, carotenoids or flavonoids. This health tea can be easily and stably supplied at low cost at any time in Japan in place of Rooibos Tea instable in feedstock supply. |
