PURPOSE: To obtain a filter which can absorb dispersed oil and purify water and air effectively by a method in which fibrous resin which is prepared by splitting a laminated film of more than one kind of resin is exposed to hot air, net-shaped fibers is produced by shrinking the fibrous resin, fibers close to the surface are melt-bonded to each other to be able to keep the shape. CONSTITUTION: An oil fence for absorbing lubricating oil which leaked from equipment in a factory etc., is made of a cord-shaped filter 100. The filter 100 is prepared by a method in which a laminated film of polypropylene and polyethylene is drawn and split, and the obtained fibrous resin is heat-treated. A group 100a of fibers in the inside of the filter 100 are shrunk and interlaced, and a group 100b of fibers close to the surface are melt-bonded by heat treatment. The fibrous resin is shrunk and interlaced by heating to form bulky net-shaped fibers, and the fibers close to the surface are heated so that fiber groups are melt-bonded. |
