PURPOSE: To surely burn a large quantity of pulverized coal by injecting the larger quantity of the pulverized coal than heretofore in a blast furnace. CONSTITUTION: This pulverized coal injecting burner 1 for injecting the pulverized coal into a blast furnace tuyere or a blow pipe for blowing hot blast connected to the blast furnace tuyere is constituted of an inner cylindrical member 2 and an outer cylindrical member 3, fitted to the outside of the inner cylindrical member 2 and forming an outside injection part 3a between the outer periphery of the member 2 and the inner periphery of the member 3. Since the fine pulverized coal A is explosively burnt similarly to the phenomenon of coal dust explosion and also the coarse pulverized fine coal B is dispersely burnt by injecting the coarse pulverized coal B from the inside injection part 2a at the inside of the inner cylindrical member 2 and also, the fine pulverized coal A having <=20μm grain size from the outside injection part 3a, the whole fine pulverized coals can effectively be burnt even if the larger quantity of the fine pulverized coal than heretofore is injected.
