PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To remove powder particles of a powder coating deposited on the surface of a spray coating booth. SOLUTION: Powder coating particles are sucked from the surface of a powder spray coating booth by a powder suction unit 8. Ions are generated by a high voltage ionizer 20 in the air above the surface 1 to be cleaned and are attracted electrically by the powder particles and the surface 1 when the powder particles have a different potential. Accordingly, the powder particles are neutralized and the attraction is finished between the powder particles and the surface 1. Resultantly more powder particles are picked up and sucked by a sucking air stream above the surface 1.
