摘要 Process for preparing highly stabilized derivatives of D- amino acid oxidases and glutaryl acylases for use as catalysts for the production of 7-amino cephalosporanic acid (7-ACA) from cephalosporin C. This process is based on the development of new strategies for the immobilization of enzymes. In this way we are able to control the orientation with which the enzyme is immobilized on the substrate, achieving control of the level of multipoint immobilization and developing additional chemical modifications for the enzyme molecules which are as yet unmoved. The enzyme derivatives obtained in this way were much more stable than the corresponding native enzymes to the inactivating effects of heat, medium pH and the presence of moderate concentrations of hydrogen peroxide. Thus this improved stability of these enzymes makes it possible to use these enzyme derivatives to optimize the development of a process of enormous advantage in the pharmaceutical industry: the production of 7ACA, a key intermediate for obtaining semisynthetic cephalosporins.
