TWO STAGE METHANE FERMENTATION PROCESS BY CONTROLLING HYDROGEN METABOLISM IN ORGANIC ACID FERMENTER

摘要

Two stage methane fermentation process which is separated a methane fermenter from an organic acid fermenter comprises controlling hydrogen metabolism or partial pressure of hydrogen in the organic acid fermenter by change of agitating rate, penetrating oxygen-free air and/or controlling oxidizing/reducing potential by injecting air into the organic acid fermenter. The two stage methane fermentation provides the advantages of increasing efficiency of organic fermentation, controlling of reaction products and especially removing a factor of failure by excess load.
