PURPOSE: To stably produce a resin film excellent in the external appearance and the flat and smooth surface by use of the solvent casting, by using a biaxially stretched base material film. CONSTITUTION: A biaxially stretched base material film is used to form a resin film on a base material film by solvent casting. A film made of polyethylene terephthalate, polyethylene naphthalate, etc., is used as the base material film. A continuous long resin film is produced by peeling off the resin film obtained, from the base material film. This formation of the resin film promotes the heat shrinkage of the base material film layer simultaneously with the dry shrinkage of the resin film layer obtained, when heating and drying the film after application of the resin solution flow, in order to prevent the curling. |
