In a method of displacing a control disc, an electric motor rotates the control disc out of a firmly preset initial position. The control disc (26) has two markings (54, 56) at a preset angle (w) to one another. The markings (54, 56) define a target sector (70) and during the rotary movement of the control disc (26) are scanned one after the other by a sensor (50) arranged in a fixed position outside the control disc, the sensor (50), in the initial position of the control disc (26), being at an angular distance equal to the rotation angle (ss) from a target radius (68) of the target sector (70) in the direction of rotation. The time taken for the markings (54, 56) to run past the sensor (50) is determined. Following the scanning of the second marking (54 or 56), the motor is stopped and electric energy is supplied to it for rotation in the opposite direction of rotation, the amount of which electric energy is dependent upon the running time determined in each case.

|
