<p>PURPOSE:To collect solid particles in exhaust gas and purify the gas efficiently by providing a collecting chamber for filtering and collecting solid particles in gas and firing them in the rear of a condensation chamber formed behind a throttle plate. CONSTITUTION:A throttle plate 4 causes politropic change of gas by passing exhaust gas so that solid particles in the exhaust gas may achieve cohesive growth. A collecting chamber 15 for filtering and collecting solid particles in the gas and firing and a combustion chamber 22 for burning the fired solid particle are provided successively in the rear of a condensation chamber 5 formed behind the throttle plate 4. A high temperature heating element 14 is provided behind the combustion chamber 22. A collecting jacket 8 consisting of ring shaped space for guiding and moving the solid particles in the gas by avoiding the high temperature part by heat migration is formed along a periphery just before the high temperature heating element 14. The periphery of the collecting jacket 8 is communicated and connected to a solid storing chamber 41. Thus, the solid particles in the exhaust gas are collected and purification can be carried out efficiently and securely.</p> |
