PURPOSE:To attain a similar operating condition in both four-wheel and two- wheel drive modes by varying a line pressure in accordance with a fourwheel drive/two-wheel drive switchover condition. CONSTITUTION:A pressure regulator regulates the line pressure of an automatic transmission to be a pressure suited to a vehicle speed and the output of an engine. A detecting means detects the four-wheel drive/two wheel-drive switchover condition of a four-wheel drive/two-wheel drive switchover means in a power transmission mechanism from an engine to wheels. And, a varying means varies the line pressure in accordance with the four-wheel drive/two-wheel drive switchover condition detected by the detecting means. |
