<p>The invention relates to a method for protecting a bottle (cylinder) of liquefied gas, and to the protected bottle thus obtained. According to the invention, at least one sleeve (22, 24) made from a plastic material capable of being made heat-shrinkable and having a widened deformed configuration is prepared, the sleeve is placed at a chosen point around the barrel (12) of the bottle (10) and the sleeve is thermally shrunk and tightened around the barrel (12). A bottle is thus obtained protected from impacts of various origins, particularly impacts coming from contact with other bottles of the same height or of a different height. <IMAGE></p> |
