<p>A method for protecting surfaces, e.g. metal surfaces, located next to surfaces intended for treatment by (shot) blasting, plasma spraying, high velocity oxygen flame (HVOF), phosphatising, painting and/or other surface treatment methods, comprises applying a silicone plastic shield (1) around the surface to be protected and then removing it after the treatment has finished. The shield can then be reused.</p> |
