A joint device for joining two members (120, 122) comprises an elongate fastening member (24) provided with a head (42) engaged by arcuate camming surfaces of a tightening element (22), so that rotation of the tightening element (22) draws the fastening member (24) towards it, the tightening element (22) being received in a housing (26) fitted in a recess (124) and the fastening member (24) being received in a housing (28) fitted in a recess (132), each housing (26, 28) being connected to the other and being expanded radially outwards to grip the recesses (124, 132) when the tightening element (22) is rotated, so that the device can be re-used. |
