<p>A cushioning conversion machine (10) which converts stock material into a cushioning product, comprising a feed assembly which feeds the stock material through the machine, and a former assembly (26) which forms the stock material into a strip of cushioning. The forming assembly includes a chute (72) and a roller device (70) upstream of the chute.
