FIELD: plastic working of metals, in particular, manufacture of different types of pipes directly in mounting zone. SUBSTANCE: bender has casing 1 making base for receiving stepped segment-template 2, toothed rack 3 connected with segment-template 2 through pin 4, detachable thrust rollers 5, gear 8 with shaft 9 connected to casing 1 through elongate end of L-shaped clip 10. Teeth of gear 8 are engageable with teeth of rack 3. Bender is further provided with U-shaped bracket 11, triple-purpose working catch 13 and retaining catch 17 for stopping rack 3. Segment-template 2, rack 3 and gear 8 allow bending of pipes of diameters ranging from 1/2 to 1 inch to be performed without replacement of bending members. Improved catches 13 and 17 allow bending speed to be increased. Bending members have weight two times as small as that of bending rollers. EFFECT: increased efficiency, reduced weight and labor intensity. 3 cl, 5 dwg |
