FIELD: heat treatment of SENDAST-type alloys. SUBSTANCE: method of heat treatment of age-hardenable alloy containing 5-12% of Si, 3-8% of Al, at least, one element from group of titanium and lanthanides in the amount of 0.001-0.08% and also titanium of 0.4-12% and carbon of 0.1-3%, includes annealing at 1000-1100 C for 2-6 h, and after annealing, instead of slow cooling, hardening in water is conducted and ageing at 500-600 C for 1-5 h. This leads to increase of alloy microhardness by 13% and considerable improvement of magnetic properties: 3-6-fold increase of initial magnetic permeability $$$, increase of saturation induction $$$ by 35%, 1.7-fold reduction of coercive force $$$ as compared with heat treatment - prototype. In addition to improvement of strength and magnetic properties of soft magnetic alloy, the offered method takes 3-10 h instead of 12-18 h taken by the prototype method. EFFECT: higher efficiency. |
