MICROINJECTION OF DNA

PURPOSE: To achieve an excellent survival rate without needing to make the tip of an injection pipette extremely thin by applying the tip with adequate degree of vibration in a state in which the tip is pressed to a pronuclea envelope and penetrating it through the envelope. CONSTITUTION: The tip of an injection pipette is pressed to the envelope of fertilized egg in a pronuclea period. The tip is penetrated through the envelope while adequate degree of vibration is applied on it in this state, and a DNA solution is infused by microinjection in the pronucleus of the fertilized egg. This allows to increase the survival rate of the treated eggs up to >=80%, and accordingly this is useful for producing a transgenic animal.
