PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To secure such bed linen products as sheets, blankets, bed cover etc., to a bed mattress. SOLUTION: A linen securing device 10 is composed of a strap 18 that is mounted diagonally across a corner of bottom surface of a mattress in at least one corner 20 of the mattress. The strap 18 has an interior surface facing the bottom surface of the mattress and an exterior surface, at least a part of them is elastic, and it serves to secure a corner of a sheet to the bottom surface of the mattress. During use of the linen securing device, a flat bed sheet 30 is draped across the top surface of the mattress and gathered in the corner of the sheet 32, and is placed over the exterior surface of the strap 18 of the device, after that the bed sheet is tucked underneath the strap 18 in a reverse tuck position between the interior surface of the strap and the bottom surface of the mattress. The sheet is held in permanent contact with the underlying mattress, its corners as well as its top end, bottom end and side edges are tucked underneath the underlying mattress, so the sheet is secured to the strap of the securing device by a tension force. |
