PRODUCTION OF EXPANDED AND SPLIT MATERIAL OF ALIPHATIC POLYESTER

PURPOSE: To produce an expanded and split material of aliphatic polyester more improved in strength by carrying out the expanding and split forming according to an inflation method with good productivity. CONSTITUTION: Guide members are circular guide disk units 3 alone and the outer peripheral part of the guide disk units 3 are additionally provided with rings or rollers 2 kept in contact with an expanded film. The critical surface tension of the material constituting the surface of the guide members is 15-65dyne/cm in a method for producing an expanded and split material comprising a step for carrying out the expanding and film forming of a composition containing an aliphatic polyester having 1,000-500,000P melt viscosity at 190 deg.C temperature at 100sec<-1> shearing rate and 70-150 deg.C melting point and a foaming agent by an inflation method, then inflating the resultant film while bringing the film into contact with the guide members and splitting the inflated film. The resultant baglike molded processed product, excellent in strength and having biodegradability is obtained by heat sealing.
