METHOD FOR PRODUCTION OF CONSTRUCTION POWDER STEEL

FIELD: powder metallurgy. SUBSTANCE: proposed method involves preparing of powder mixture followed by its statistic cold compression to prepare briquette having residual porosity 20-30 %. Then thus obtained briquette is heated in protective atmosphere to 1000-1100 C and is allowed to stand at said temperature within 6-20 min. The process is followed by hot treatment by pressure in sealed press mold, thus desired dense material is obtained. Mentioned above powder mixture is prepared by adding powder of bismuth, its quantity being 0.1-1.8 mass %. EFFECT: improved physical and mechanical features of desired steel and its processing by cutting.
